The actual invoice would be closer to 600 million euros per year

Parisians are likely to pay their monthly subscription of 65 euros instead of the current EUR 56.60 transit. This increase of 8.40 euro would be the price to pay for the eventual establishment of a single tariff valid in all subscription of Ile-de-France - instead of the six existing areas-, as advocated by Europe ecology in referring to the need for solidarity of all the inhabitants of the region. However, the increase, mainly supported by companies who repay at least half of the monthly subscriptions of their employees, would be less strong for the users.

Head of the Socialist list and past President of the Regional Council, Jean-Paul Huchon is of more cautious on the subject, it is stressed in the agreement he concluded yesterday for the second round with Cécile Duflot (Europe ecology) and Pierre Laurent (left Front), which functions in the future Regional Council have not been specified. The three allies have indicated be reached an agreement on transport, with particular "unique pricing" to "give the identity and attachment to the Ile-de-France region", according to Jean-Paul Huchon. "Neither Cécile, nor stone, nor me are wedged on a figure, are given two years to put in place" rushed to add, stressing that "extensive studies" would begin "soon".

Loss of revenue

In fact, unique pricing is far from making unanimity. Its cost, estimated at EUR 152 million a year by the Greens, could be financed by a mere 2 of the number of subscribers increases, according to their calculations. But for Jean-Paul Huchon, this assessment does not take account the effect on other transport titles, beginning with the T Ticket, sold to the unit or in notebooks, and some 150 other rates existing in the region. The actual invoice would be closer to 600 million euros per year. As to the proposals of packages to Yves Jégo EUR 30 or 45 euros Jean-François Copé, they respectively cost 1.5 billion and 800 million euros.

"This is not realistic, the dezoning is going to lose considerable revenue to the Union of the transport of Ile-de-France, the STIG," explains Fnaut AUT transport user. The organisation, the single tariff for the weekend proposed by Jean-Paul Huchon will be difficult to finance. But most importantly, Fnaut AUT saw the proposal Greens "a call for air that people go to live further away from Paris and miter further campaign, with the risk that the length of the routes have them eventually prefer the car".

Depending on the region, the STIG did yesterday not wish to take a position. Until now, its services were working on new forms of pricing that allow the quasi-généralisation of the titles of transport advanced as the Navigo or some mobile phones. In clear, region, convinced that the current areas lose their relevance with the development of the transverse lines from suburb to suburb, is moving towards a system of payment based on distance travelled. Solution applied for example in the Japan and recovery by the UMP Valérie Pécresse candidate and who will term the issue of the load to actually affect business.
